Wake Your Tastebuds Salmon!

Salmon Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ lbs. Salmon (preferably wild-caught)
  • ½ tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Turmeric
  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Black Pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 small Lemons (1 sliced into about 6 slices, 1 saved for squeezing if desired at the end)

  1. Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  2. Let the salmon sit on the counter for 10 minutes before beginning to prepare it. This allows the fish to cook better the closer to room temperature it is.
  3. Place the salmon skin-side down in a baking dish and brush ½ tbsp. olive oil on the top side.
  4. Combine 1 tsp. turmeric, ½ tsp. sea salt, and ¼ tsp. black pepper in a small bowl. Then, rub the mixture on the salmon.
  5. Sprinkle the 2 cloves of minced garlic over it.
  6. Lay the lemon slices on top.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. If desired, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.
